I'm not terribly original as I love all the deep Christmas classics.

Nat King Cole - The First Noel, The Christmas Song, Silent Night,
Brenda Lee - Jingle Bell Rock
Burl Ives - Holly Jolly Christmas, Santa Claus is coming
Anne Murray - The Little Drummer Boy
Jimmy Durant - Frosty The Snowman
Dean Martin - Baby, it's cold outside
Eartha Kitt -Santa Baby (if you dont love that one shame!!)
The original Mr. Grinch, not sure who sang it but I think it was Tennessee Ernie Ford?
Johnny Mathis - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Frank Sinatra - Jingle Bells
Fred Astaire - Santa Claus is coming to town.

4. Debroy Somers Band -- Savoy Christmas Medley (1929)

Actually, Paul McCartney's 'Pipes Of Peace', based on a true story of WWI, 1914, is a perfect Christmas message almost one hundred years later ≈ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_truce

I have so many, but off of the top of my head:

Chuck Berry's "Run Rudolph Run" Love that early Rock & Roll sound:

Anything off of Johnny Mathis' "Merry Christmas" record. My mom bought this when I was a kid and I grew up with it. It's not Christmas until I've heard it.
"Winter Wonderland" was the first track:

Billy Squier's "Christmas is the Time To Say I Love You":

"Wonderful Christmas Time" by Paul McCartney. This always reminds me of Christmas Eve, when all of the radio stations play 24 hours of Christmas music. That is the only time I would ever hear this:

"I Believe in Father Christmas" by Greg Lake. Depressing for sure, but when the fanfare at the end kicks in, it's pretty exhillerating:

And to agree with Edward, "Failytale of New York" by the Pogues:

And then what it's all about, Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song". Here's the lesser known 1946 version:

12. Bob Rivers -- Police Stopped My Car :p

Police stopped my car
Police stopped my car
The police made me stop
Walk a straight line
And blow a balloon up

Police stopped my car
Police stopped my car
The police made me stop
Walk a straight line
And blow a balloon up

They want to wish me
A sober Christmas
That's why they always
Pull me over Christmas
They say they're just making sure
That there's no other bottles in my car

Police road block
Police road block
Police road block
I can smell the donuts
As they smell my breath

Police road block
Police road block
Police road block
I can smell the donuts
As they smell my breath

They want to wish me
A sober Christmas
That's why they always
Pull me over Christmas
They're gonna let me out on bail this Christmas
From the bottom of their hearts

Police locked me up
Police locked me up
The police locked me up
Because when I blew
I drew a 3.1

17.
18. From the 19th century...
Krampus is the dark companion of St. Nicholas, the traditional European winter gift-bringer who rewards good children each year on December 6. The kindly old Saint leaves the task of punishing bad children to a hell-bound counterpart known by many names across the continent — Knecht Ruprecht, Certa, Perchten, Black Peter, Schmutzli, Pelznickel, Klaubauf, and Krampus. Usually seen as a classic devil with horns, cloven hooves and monstrous tongue, but can also be spotted as a sinister gentleman dressed in black or a hairy man-beast. Krampus punishes the naughty children, swatting them with switches and rusty chains before dragging them in baskets to a fiery place below.

If you don't know Krampus your Christmas enjoyment is incomplete! I love Krampus!........ The music video on the other hand..........

This video however, I enjoy a great deal!

I could just see Krampus and Santa hanging out at the beer hall.
