Thanks Krugan, I appreciate the info. :) I assumed as much, as hardware's mostly YKK and the belt buckle is stamped which would indicate the time of manufacture to be either the late 80's or the early 90's. Since there's no code nor any other info inside the coin pocket, other than the tag with the size number - utterly uninformative, as the size tag already exists - we could definitely place it early nineties.

You're welcome, Monitor! I've just checked mine that is a '90 618 and it has YKK main zipper and the ones on the sleeves are IDEAL. The buckle is the same as yours and the buttons are Schott branded. Of course it has the underarm footballs that had been introduced around 1980 (my brother has a '79 618 that has the sleeves like the older models but is one of the first produced with the rounded sides buckle).

It's the same decade, then. Also IDEAL sleeve zips on this one.

By the by, I also have a cool Brimaco on sale on the Bay, size 36-38.
