I came across this rather poignant recovery story at the weekend. The crew who died lay unrecovered and forgotten until this chap stumbled across them while hiking. What amazed me the most was the Irvin that you can see in one of the photos on a scree slope. After 30 plus years in the open on a mountainside it still looks in reasonable condition.

I'd never heard of this story, even with the tragic Canadian connection.
