Since this is October 1 and the opening day of pheasant hunting season here in New Hampshire I thought a post about hats for the hunter and hiker was appropriate. If you hunt or hike in the woods this time of year it is to your advantage to wear a blaze orange hat and/or clothing.
The first is the Bailey Crossfire which is a western style hat in a blaze camo pattern.
The second is the Bailey Teton which is a western style hat with fold down earflaps in blaze orange.
As you can see from the below picture I practice what I preach.
