Hi, a longtime browser here!

I've been hoping for some help with a suit I recently bought (earlier menswear isn't my strength, but I couldn't pass this one up), and while I've asked a couple of other people, I thought I'd ask here also.
The item in question is a striped men's suit, labelled S.B.Watts & Co. Though I realize they were a theatrical costumier, I've found others instances of their labelled items being original vintage (this suit seemed Edwardian to me, at least in style), so would very much appreciate your help.
Photos are from the seller, being one of the items which I'll be picking up when I come back to the UK.

Thanks ever so much in advance,
Lily :)

The weave of that fabric definitely looks like something from the teens, ditto the label. I'd say 1890s to teens for the over-all cut, though I couldn't speak to that authoritatively, as the suit is in desperate need of a steaming and pressing, but it very much so resembles some of the Summer/Sporting clothing that I've seen from my collection of clothing illustrations/advertisements from that time period. Good wearing Sir! Will you be wearing it with white bucks, or linen spectators? A Club collar and teck tie? P.S. The suit reminds of "Crash Goods" that used to be advertised during the Spring/Summer season in the old industry catalogues. Good times! Also, the boldness of the stripes further nudges this towards that Edwardian period. I would strongly stand behind that as being the date of origin for this, especially in light of the buttoned fly, boxy shoulders, and other detailing (like the curvature of the front coat tails). Rant.
