Salt & Pepper/Covert cloth shirting?

Hello All,

Long time reader, first time poster here.

I'm having great difficultly sourcing this elusive material. It would appear that this is only being produced in Japan somewhere???

I see quite a few repro shirts being done in this fabric, but I'm trying to source enough of the material so that I can have my own shirt made.

All online searches have proven unsuccessful.

If someone would point me in the right direction; I would be much obliged.
