Tom Horn was hanged for the murder of young Willie Nickell on this date, Oct 22, 1903.
I expect no "likes" for this one. What people buy who have more money than they know what to do with it. Another Nick Fouquet masterpiece.
No offense to Ms O'keefe, but that picture reminded me of this:
Although a different kind of criminal, some people equate Ricci to Train robber Ronnie Biggs (1929 -2013). Not a very flattering picture.
Artist & actor, Michael Horse:
Director Robert Rodriguez
I was pleased to see him in the new Twin Peaks. Hawk is a great character.
Great Chief of the Mescalero Apache, Chief Nautzili
Old cabinet card photo
Charlie Soap, husband of Cherokee Chief Wilma Mankiller
Wow! That jacket in the last pic is something.
He is an interesting guy. And Wilma is an interesting woman & was a well respected Chief. If you have not seen this movie you might enjoy it. It is easy to see how & why she earned the respect of the Cherokee people. You can probably stream it online somewhere.
"Old Cherokee Tom" 1927
William Penn Adair....(1830-1880) Confederate Colonel, Cherokee political leader, namesake for Adair, OK & ancestor of William "Will" Penn Adair Rogers
And some good advice from Will Rogers:
Ignoring Will Rogers for a second I'll just say that my vests tend to fit the same way. I'm guessing that was a fashion thing?
Don't know...maybe he carried a hideout inside the vest?
More good advice:
Separate names with a comma.
