Looking great Michael! I love that tie!
Thanks Bob. It's tie season, you need to pull a few out of your vast collection and show them off.

Like your style Michael! Especially the wide lapel blazers.
Thanks Redline. The wide lapel jackets are probably the easiest type to find that were still commonly made of heavier wools.

Very sharp, Michael! The tie and the whole look!

Thanks Dale. That suit is quite possibly my favorite 3 piece.

I stopped at my favorite thrift today and found two ascots for 50 cents a throw at half price.

I can't believe these were hanging there all month and I didn't see them. I think they must have put the wrong color label on them. I only have photos of the second one while I'm wearing it.

I picked up the Pendleton shirt I'm wearing with the ascot there today too. It's a bit tight, but works pretty well under a vest. And I see I need to practice my ascot tying. Ha ha.

Thanks all,
Michael

Score.

I've never been a fan of the skinny lapel. I have a couple suits with wide lapels and some blazers. Also currently having a three piece made for me by Beckett & Robb. Should have it in a month or so.

Thanks Micheal. Not sure I would call it a "vast collection" ... more like a bunch of ties from the thrifts.

This one, however, is from Etsy. Cheap enough that I could cover the shipping. I'm starting to get a small collection of "Handwoven by Indians". Wearing this one today.

Out of a bunch of ties from thrifts do vast collections grow. Ha ha. I like that one a lot. I have one or two handwoven by American Indians ties. A couple more if you count the bleeding Madras, which are handwoven by the other Indians.

Inspired by Michael's recent autumn leaves display (and a little envious) I dug out some of my own. None so nice as his, and I'm not even sure the navy one on the right isn't some sort of vine, but they're what I've got.

They all look great Dale. I would say the second from the left is hops vine. The rightmost one might be as well. And I'm with Bob, great quilt too.
