  7. PLASTIC FELT!!!!!!! 1940's........apparently it is wonderful, and just like all Stetsons......really attracts the Ladies!!! I WOULD actually LOVE to find one in my size.;):)

  8. A little before the time of this thread (1916) is a invoice for half a dozen Stetson "Big Four's" in black that I thought would be of interest. I am including a picture of a Big Four from an early 20's booklet "Stetson Staple Shapes" that I have........

  9. Ok...1941 again......the "New Slant".....pre-creased hat.......one of the best ads showing well the crease.....my wife says "you should try that on one of your hats".....I say...."we will see........". Not sure about that one.....
    Interestingly, one of these is seen in the article on ovecoats I included on the back of another 1941 ad I posted earlier in this thread.

  10. Here we go from the 1920's......a "magic lantern" advertising slide. These were shown just before the movies, some houses still do something similar, especially around the holidays. A color slide like this was $4 back in the day.........
