The ultimate messenger bag

So after searching for years actually I think I have landed on a bag that I could live with and stay with. I have been looking for ultimate build quality and materials in a style I like.

I've spent thousands probably on RRL messengers , LV etc...just cannot find piece with one and stick with it.
I now would just like advise before I push the button...

The bag is from The Leather Shop in Seattle ( great reviews )
The model is the Hairloom size medium.
I'm thinking of ordering the 'Natural' finish and asking them to weather it a little as it's a little too 'white' as it is. Also going to have the ID tag left off flap.

Does anyone have experience of The Hairloom Moose brand from the lather shop.
What finish out of Natural or Tan would you recommend (Tan in pics. They also do 'yellow' but not shown on their site) I love the idea of Natural and how it will age.
