This or That

  1. Mechanical. People are less likely to steal it than a plain pencil.
  2. wood-graphite or mechanical pencil?

    Parker 1927 mechanical pencil.

    Paper or email receipts?

Wooden table for your living room or tiles-table?
  6. Wood.
Saltillo tiles on the floor in some parts of the house
and wood floors in other parts.

Ceiling fans or central air? :D

Both! But given our humidity and summer temps I'll choose the air conditioning.
    Pancakes or waffles?

  8. Pancakes...but only because I don’t have that thing to make waffles.

    Maple syrup or honey ?

    Central AC or Window unit?

  12. Grew up with a rotating fan and later to
    window unit in the house.
    Today, it's uncomfortable without a
    Central unit. :D

    Gas or electric stove?
  13. Gas, SGF is passionate about this. She likes the way it heats and "feels," as she says it just feels "real." And while some say electric gives you better control, she says - she is a very intuitive and instinctual baker and cook - she can just "sense" a gas oven better.

    Christine McVie or Stevie Nicks?

  15. Eleanor Powell or Ginger Rogers tap dancing?

  16. Oh, tough one. Overall, my allegiance is to Ginger - we've been through so many fun movies together - but honesty forces me to admit that Powell looks more fluid, more in control of her totality in the two clips you posted, so reluctantly:

A this, that, or one of the other ones:

    Astaire's not-Ginger-Rogers dance partners:

Rita Hayworth, Cyd Charisse, Judy Garland, Leslie Caron or Audrey Hepburn?

  17. From that group, Judy. She looks like she's actually enjoying herself. But if I could choose from any and all partners, I'd go for Astaire's dance with Burns & Allen in "A Damsel in Distress." Just three hoofers having themselves a blast.

Astaire as dancer or Astaire as singer?

  18. Astaire as dancer.

Gene Kelly as dancer or as singer?
  19. Dancer (he brings a full-force of something to dancing)

Okay, we've been dancing (tee-hee) around this perennial one: Astaire or Kelly?

BTW, I thought Cyd Charisse was Astaire's equal and seem to be experiencing pure joy when she was dancing w/ him.

If you mention Cyd, you have to post a pic.
    Pretty sure it's a rule. :D
