Wow, nine hours of darkness in the WHAYWT thread! That must be a record. I guess everybody is trying to reconcile their busted brackets?

Anyway, top o' the Monday morning to all. Getting my week under way wearing the FrunoBerger (of Hollywood). @Redfokker, I still need to read up on the Berger material you sent me (TYVM). Just haven't had the time to sit down and go over it.

Excellent Monday hat.

Monday... it seems like this happens every seven days. This week, I'm softening the disillusionment of the experience with a Resistol.I hope that each of you has a great start to the work week.

A youngish man with a big smil emerges this morning under a homburg. You do not have any facial wrinkles. If beards diminish facial wrinkles I am starting one immediately. ;) Nice shave and hat this morning.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
We now will have a history of the Fruno-berger, a legacy on your head. Enjoyed the journey, research is my life.

All clean shaven and fresh looking! Some kind of ritual during lent? I really like the fact that Resistol proudly announces the Homburg designation of this beauty.

Another grey and windy day. Cold is coming back

Borsalino Qualità Speciale

Color is "Rodio" and the ribbon "Asfalto" Felt has very short hair finish
i3tncl.jpg

It was flooded in some way and never worn. It was restored in Milan - Cappelleria Melegari

The sweatband is stamped with a north Europe hats shop. The wind cord is the "different" element for Borsalino sold outside Italy

Classic proportions for a late seventies hat made in the historical factory in Alessandria

For Richard Morgan: I wear this Borsalino to show you the interpretation of the same theme by Barbisio e Borsalino
Have a a nice Mnday!

Hey pal, nice hat, but what did you do with Matt?

I love that hat, but early '70s Elton John is confused...

For that matter, so is Johnny Paycheck.

Yeah... I was trying to goateeize.

A tragic accident happened. My reaction most closely resembled that of the dude in Jim's post. I feel a bit not myself. Rather, more like a naked mole rat.

Thanks for the comments (except for you, Bob! And that's SIR Elton John to you!!!).

Dining out tonight with a group of friends in one of The New Forest's most popular Italian restaurants. I just hope that the roads are clear.
I hope that the roads are clear. How prophetic was that? There we all were, enjoying a convivial meal, and each other's company, chit-chatting away, usual small talk.

Get outside a few hours later and all the cars are covered in four inches of snow. Thankfully we got home safely, but we saw at least two cars that had gone off road, one was facing headlights down in a deep ditch.
