Another nice one! Cool color combo.

Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-J510FN met Tapatalk
Thanks Sergej!
Very nice colours on that one, Harv. You enjoy being poster boy for Esther's work don't you?
Thanks Stefan. Someone has to do the dirty work. [emoji14]

Better late than never. I spent the day at the archives of the Portland Art Museum. A famous Oregon State Dean, Gordon Gilkey gave his art collection and papers to them before his death in 2000. He was also one of the Monument Men from WWII. I will probably be contracted out to process his archival collection (20 boxes!) in the near future. Spent the day geeking out in my Mossant Diplomatique. Kind of seemed appropriate.

Great Mossant and pics from the field.

I'm jealous of your job. Back in the olden days, I was going to go for a PHD in history. My focus was going to be South Asia. Didn't pan out. But history remains my first love.

Need an assistant? Will work for space to duct tape together three or four refrigerator cartons in your back yard, access to a power supply, a shower and the occasional opportunity to wear some of your hats.

Great shots, Mike. Looks like you had a great time. Is that wax in the first picture? Somewhere underneath all that, is there a wine bottle?

Thanks for ALL the great lids to oogle this week, friends!!
Super SUNNY Saturday here, and I'm ready with a Vintage Silhouettes in Steel dress weight felt.

You were oogling my hats? No wonder they've joined the #metoo movement!

Thanks for all of the kind words and likes related to the Borsalino and Richard Stewart's hat.

This Premier Vita-Felt Process hat hasn't been in it's original homburg form for years because I dig it so much with a pinch and teardrop crease. This morning it went for a steam bath before being re-homburgized.

The results do not infuriate me.

I include a few shots of it the other way from a couple of months back. I think that the above and below comparison is kind of neat.

Have a groovy day.

After straying away from the flock it's back in the fold again as a homburg. Feels like coming home...Great hat either way, Matt.
