Por fin, llegamos en Santiago. Finally, we’ve arrived in Santiago, and well be here for the next few months. I’ve been wearing my VS monetcristi, and it’s the perfect hat for this part of Chile. Santiago has been in the mid eighties. At the time I left New Mexico it was in the low thirties and I had to force myself to bring my VS Sahara. As we travel south, I hope that the weather will cool enough to make the felt more comfortable.

I neglected to bring the cable to download the camera to the computer, so stay tuned and I’ll eventually have photos.

It's a very dark brown that they call Chocolate. It was almost black when I first bought it and has lightened up over time. Sorry about the sepia-tinted photo. I was trying to subdue the overly bright light.
