Got to make room and selling things to do so, these boots have a patented "velvet tongue" and a air cushion arch support, to help keep your feet comfy. These boots are Vintage, your Grandpa probably owned a pair if he had work boots that are better made. I have had these boots to my local cobbler, for his input on them, he was very impressed with how well they are made. They are a very deep brown color, the leather is thick but very supple for their age, the is ZERO wear on either heels and not really any noticed wear on the soles. The heels are nailed on and the soles are sewn, the heel plate states they are armored. They have the original laces that upon examination appear to be still new. The age of these boots are anyone's good guess, my local cobbler said maybe 1950's but no older than that. The boots are roomy, and I think have a better comfort level than any other work boot I have ever tried on. Inside on the arch support it states air comfort and velvet tongue as it is stamped in a gold lettering there. I cannot read the size information on the side of the boot, it appears to be size 11, however these boots are big, wide. I normally wear a size 11 and they are very roomy on me. They are in fairly new shape yet, not fully broken in, have a few so minor shallow scuffs on them I cannot get them to show on in my pictures. They are a quality (IMO) above Redwings by far, and would last many many years before needing to be resoled. They measure out to be 13 inches long and almost 5 inches wide, they have 10 eyelets (each side of the tongue) and are a hair over 9 inches tall. I have had them for the last week treated sitting with mink oil and gave them a real thick coating of fiebing"s polish. They were soft and supple prior to my treating them with the mink oil, I just wanted to give them a bit of care before putting them up for sale. I paid $140.00 for them 2 years ago and just have never worn them, so they have to go, I need to make room. Asking $90.00 shipped to anyplace CONUS, and would entertain honorable offers.

I should also make mention I was just informed a few moments ago, these boots are "Mason" brand, thus explaining the vintage "Velvet Tongue" and Velvet ease that is gold letter stamped inside the boot, and you can barely see a logo on the inner heel area but they are Mason brand.

I would like to see someone here own these, so before they go off to eBay, $45.00 shipped, the pictures of these boots really do not show how nice they are, or the quality of how well they are made. Have to say, they leave redwings crying for quality.
