Certainly is a fun song!

Indeed! Wish I could get it on MP3 or CD on amazon.com...

Fun stuff from 2010 (or is it 1945?): Gotta love the note-for-note repeat of the 1940's Charlie Parker be-bop jazz solo by the gal in center at 1:50 ...

And heard this one last year on youtube, and bought this, plus a handful of other new 7-inch vinyl rockabilly-style records for the 45 rpm jukebox, from Wild Records... So much great new/old music being made out there!:

You do look a bit like Ava Gardner. ;)

Aerosmith's cover of Baby, Please Don't Go, Reel Big Fish's cover of Take on Me, and Karen Souza's cover of Tainted Love (first time I could understand the lyrics: hmmmm...). Nothing vintage, but perfect for a visit to the fitness place.

I like this, a lot! Never heard it before, but it's got that twang and the cry of the steel guitar that I sure do love.

Never heard it before? :eeek: Hard to believe...

Anyways, it's a great song, written by Leon Payne. There are couple of other nice renditions on Youtube (Beasts Of Bourbon and Earl Clifton have great versions).

I love those whacky psycho killer country songs, but then I have a penchant for murder ballads in general.

Here's another murder ballad, one of my favorites. A hauntingly, heart-wrenchingly beautiful song, written & performed by Tom Waits:

Widow's Grove
