G.durand, thanks. I've never seen a Lee I didn't like! I'm liking all these akubras, gentlemen. Nice straw, Perry and wiser. Jared, super vs.

Al, your photos always make me drool, but it has been several weeks since they made me hungry! I could just reach through the touch screen and grab that tofu out of your chopsticks! Nice to see the architecture as well.

Manfred, happy and safe travels! Enjoy Italy, my friend!

Texas hatters quirky thing this morning.

Today, again, in the hospital to take the stitches from my nose. Everything healed very nice, the doctor is pleased with the result and finally I can eat everything.

Have Fun Chepstow !

Happy Friday to All.....& cool hats so far this morning

:eusa_clap... Manfred, take lots of pictures.

AL, I saw an account once on the making of stinky tofu. It was enough of a taste for me. :eeek: Glad to see your brim curl was not affected by the radiation. :) Do you ever make it to the mainland in your travels?

Beautiful pictures Joao... good healing to you.

Alan: How do your wife and daughters feel about walking by your side when you're wearing that hat?

Thanks Manfred, have fun in Italy!

Perry: Thanks, it's always nice to see your smiling face in the morning.

Delectans: As always, fun to watch your journeys. I'll have to find a place that sells stinky tofu and give it a try some time, if only to watch my kids reaction to it!

I'm not sure... for some reason, my family often stays several paces in front of me when we walk..?

Actually, the family seems to find enjoyment in having a dad/husband who is a certifiable nut. At least it makes them smile most of the time. :)

I've been too busy with work to keep up with this thread the last few days, but there's been some great hats worn from a quick flick through. I shall go back for a proper look this weekend.

Today was a new Christy's linen cap:

Good News - the temperature isn't in the 90's today!
Bad News - it has reached the 100's :(

A wide brim is just what is needed for a (shorter than usual with more stops for cooling off in the canal) walk with dogs. This is a hat I won on Facebook last summer from Panador Hats, obviously overexposed in the photo but bleached almost as white as that!

BR - yes, I agree with you regarding Alan! Actually to wear these funny hats in the modern era suggests we are all at least a little nutty!
