Thanks for the appreciation... happy that you enjoyed this photo. I like to think my hat room is interesting more for the editing than the volume, but even with focus, there are too many to choose from in my size.

SRDublin, my wife is a costume designer and she still thinks I'm nuts. :)

Thanks, Alan. The white polo is brand new (from a thrift store) and the bound black felt just seemed right with it. I also tried it with my black OR and new to me black Arnold hatters western, but was in an unusually nonwestern mood for a casual summer day.

I like the campcraft Harv. Is that the bluegrass color?

That Melton looks great and so does that tie Hatophile

DJH the silvermist is an excellent color for the summertime, and that's a cool vent pattern (in more ways than one)

Bowlerman the Wormser looks sharp on you. That's a nice hat.

You look to be still bathing in that euphoric post-vacation afterglow, Alan. Gorgeous panama!!!

The threat of rain here had me in an indecisive mood this morning. Needed to be a conservative, suit-wearing businessman for an important client meeting (I really hate when the customers cut into Summer fun time, though) so I went for the Mallory to work with the tan suit.

But as the skies became darker and more rain started up coming down, I switched to a replaceable VS Mohave, in the event of continued drenching. Very effective... the rain stopped completely, sun came out, and I was without a straw.

And NO, I was NOT multi-tasking. Traffic stopped; I grabbed a shot! No scofflaw here...

Alan, Beautiful Montecristi from Brodt's Hat Factory in D.C.. A good friend of mine has ties to Brodt's. His uncle started there and went on to own Vienna Hats of DC.

Charlie, Your Mallory looks fantastic. Great combo!
