Rusty's the only one who has been able to reshape one and it took Buckaroo Hatters to get it done if I remember correctly.

Hey all
Late to the party today.
The Dalton looks awesome on you Fruno.
Digging the Resistol OR clone g.durand.

Cold overcast gusty afternoon here in NorCal, so I went with my newly acquired Lawrence and Foster cashmere 8 dart cap in Navy.

Good evening. Back this afternoon to the MPLS/St.Paul, MN area to unexpected mid 60'F and getting cooler weather. I love the weather. Felt and cap this afternoon and evening.

A vtg. Stetson Stratoliner (brown), a City Sport cap (brown) and a Pendleton celebrate the cooler weather.

Thanks, man. The Lee is probably early-mid '50s since it came with the pre-blocked crown that Lee began doing sometime around then. I steamed out the teardrop and left it with a simple center dent. I have a more pristine Trinity that has an open crown so I'm guessing it's older.

I'll second your endorsement of the Strat Eric is wearing and also add that both Eric and Moe are sporting a couple of nice looking caps.

I've never had a hat looks so beautiful on the shelf and yet so terrible on my head.

I stopped buying new Stetsons a while back. From what I see and have experienced, the felt ones are still no match for an Akubra. A buddy of mine bought a new Premier Stratoliner last year, and after a good rain dousing, it buckled, and never regained its shape. Design is one thing, but a good felt is another.

I have two Premiere felt Stetsons, and they are very nice. However, I noticed the Premiere Strat began a severe tapering on one side after wearing it in the rain. I was able to finally work it back to its original shape. But I also paid less than half of the retail price at the outlet. If I had to choose between a retail priced Premiere Stetson and a retail priced Akubra, there is no comparison. Akubra wins on value and quality. And you can spring for the Heritage felt and still be way under the price of the Stetson.

It won't stop me from looking again when I'm at the Stetson Outlet later this year when I'm back in Texas. :) Especially if I can find a deeply discounted Stetson Racine....

I think I finally found a shirt/tie combination that works with this hat. It's not grey, and not tan. Taupe is the best color to describe it. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it since it sees less use than many of my others. Dobbs 707.

Great shot, AnA. A bright spot on a Wednesday morn!
Color combo looks good, S4C, I'm liking that tie, too.

Another hot one in Ohio, but they're also calling for storms this afternoon. So that means I break out my Silverbelly CD.
