I just love that! Hilarious, Ant.

I don't know what it is about Vita-Felts. But I like it. Cool thing with this one is that '46 is my dad's birthday year, too. Maybe I should name it after him. [emoji6]

I love that idea

The BEST beast, Bud!!! Such a GREAT lid on you, Matt!

I like that idea, Matt; a hat named "Dad!"

I love that idea

Good decision !!!

Thanks guys.

My father's first name is my grandfather's middle name. My grandfather (who was a hat man) always went by that middle name, while my dad has always gone by his own middle name. I suppose that was to avoid confusion in the house. In any event...

In honor of both of them, the Stetsonian is christened EVERETT.

Happy Tuesday.
Figure that it would be just plain stupid to not wear the just new to me Vita-Felt Stetsonian on this rainy morning.
As your Father & I share the same birth year, I think that you should send that hat off to me. I'll pay the postage.

Are you perceptive, or what? It's a grey day, I have an appointment, so it's a collar and tie today. After photographing the effect, for some reason my computer kept switching from colour to black & white. "Goodness me!" declared my wife, "you look all 1940's." Now that's a compliment.

You GO, EVERETT! Absolutely LOVE it, Matt.
I can just envision you getting up to leave somewhere, grabbing that beautiful hat and saying, "C'mon, Everett, let's go!"

No Everett, but this Stetson is one like Mm25 has a near identical model. As I recall our convo, we agreed on the Hommy-like-look.

Off topic, but a visiting hawk refused to move this morning. I contacted the Audubon Society, and a bird lady explained that; (1) it's either waiting for the ground hog to come out from under the shed, or (2) it already enjoyed the meal, and was resting, digesting in the sun, or (3) was injured, and if it was still there at mid-day, they'd send a "naturalist" down to check it out. That naturalist had better be wearing clothes...
