That's some serious color coordination you got going there, Bob. Very nice!

I am relieved and happy to announce that I'll be posting a WHAYWT tomorrow morning. I'm getting out of the house to go to the doctor! I have been pain free most of the day (no fun drugs, although not without some Baileys in my coffee). The stone has never seen the outside world, so they think it may be a severe kidney infection. The high power anti anthrax pills must be doing something. Since I wore my Bowler to the Urgent Care and that didn't cure me, I'll go with a soft felt to be determined when I get up in the morning. Thanks to all of my family here in the lounge who wished me well over these days. I feel a little bit like chicken little, but happy to be so.
I'm looking forward to your WHAYWT. Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Hey folks!
Showing my colors with my tie-dye brothers. An oh-so-green John Batterson to top it off.

Funny...I'd swear that was a smiley face 6 weeks ago...
Have a great day!

Sent from thin air using electricity and other wizardry.
That's a great dye... It seems to say: "TAKE THAT you happy, sunshiny, patchouli stinking hippies!" Nice.

I dig the hat, too.

Bama, that Stetsonian is superb!
40, the Portis is glorious!

I've been choosing grey hats a lot lately, something about the cold weather encourages it, I guess.

On a fairly cold day like today I'm alway surprised at the number of bare heads I see around town. There were a few people wearing oversized socks on their heads - sorry, "beanies" - but apart from that I only counted 4 flat caps and 3 fedoras (2 clearly cheap wool felt, 1 fur felt) out and about. Don't these balding men get cold heads in winter? And the only woman I saw wearing a proper hat was my mother when I met her for coffee... So it's great to come back home to such a variety of great hats worn today right here!

I warm up just looking at that photo, such nice warm colours from your jumper and the wall behind you and the light on your hat. Lovely :)

Some shopping today in the Born quarters of Barcelona and as a reward I'm having an alcohol free beer (gotta drive) and some olives at the old food market! Have a good friday everyone!

Awesome hat kuki! Is it red or orange? I especially love the bow, so cute - I know, I get way too excited about hat bows. Great photos!

Now that's colourful! Looks nice and warm.

1910s Knox Extra Quality derby sold by Sole Agents The. Harvey in Tiffin, Ohio.

Still has the price tag. SUPER NEATO! View attachment 62775

I hope that you each have a SUPER NEATO Friday.

That is one amazing bowler, so cool the price tag is still in there! And in great condition, especially considering its age. You rock it!

Today, my VS Tucker in whiskey:

It originally came as a centerdent, but I found with my skull that I had to leave the rear of the crown a bit higher than the front, to clear my head. So I gave in at last and made it over into a teardrop with dome.
I often find that with centre dents as well. I have tried hats with higher crowns to remedy the problem but they don't really suit me. But your hat looks great as it is now!

Wonderful Borsa; beautifully provocative photo, Celia!!

Thank you very much, I do like the borsalino, always makes me think I need way more brown hats to go with the collar of that coat though...

Celia – I’ve been doing Borsalinos all week. Yours is gorgeous. Beautiful lines on that hat.

In keeping with my Borsalino week, this charcoal fedora that I almost sold. Shame on me. It has turned into one of my favorite hats.

Thank you Bruno, your borsalino today is a beauty as well, glad you didn't sell it. When I was a kid, my father used to wear a similar charcoal borsalino. I remember feeling really proud walking around town with a dad with such a stylish hat :)

Well, I am great and powerful.

And yes, 15 degrees and short sleeves.
Great and powerful, remember? [emoji14]

Welcome to brown hat day, making its wearers great and powerful ;) Beautiful!

I have not had much time to choose a hat today, so I opted for a Borsalino

Thanks a lot for the likes of yesterday wool blue hamburg from Monza

Daniele, what can I say... That hat really is stunning, it just looks perfect on you. The situation with borsalino is very sad. Thank you for the beautiful landscape as well, I need to visit Italy again. Vague plans for this summer...
