Thanks guys for the likes and comments on my Whippet from yesterday. This one is a special hat and is one of three Whippets I have that previously belonged to other Lounge members - Josh in this case.

I’m enjoying the fact it has been a little cooler this week and have another felt hat with me today, VS in Dove felt.

Thanks Red. I'm never sure if I spelled it right or not. It's a nice cap and will probably be seeing more use on the bicycle now that it's wool cap weather.

Have you looked at the vintage felts that Brass Rooster shows on their website? If so, I would love to hear your opinion of them. Worth the extra $$$?

I've only seen one at the shop, and it was an amazing piece of felt. Lightweight and a great soft-yet-solid feel. Heavenly like any really top of the line vintage felt hat. Worth the price? Er, to me, no – but that's just because it's well outside my price parameters for a lid, but your range might be different than mine. John always welcomes calls so you could always give him a ring if you are looking for more info...
