Running errands before the big campout/family reunion this weekend. Running hot yesterday and today, so it's time for a nice paja taquilla straw from Mike at NW Hats. A grade 12 Panama body Mike made into a stylish fedora for me. Art at VS made one for me dressed up in brown ribbon, while Mike did this number is navy ribbon with a "tuxedo" splash of white ribbon to match the color of the straw.

Knox Premier Quality. I am not a huge fan of milan... heavy weight in warm weather and the sewn wheat straw braids tend to lose shape. That said, this hat is among my favorites.

The homburg is the winner for me, Jeff. Lovely.Sweltering scorching heat for a few days before the rain hit.
