Thanks folks for the kind comments on my Stetson Beachcomber. I read them all and appreciate your words. I am honored to give this hat an appreciating home. This is one of my wife's favorites so it makes wearing it very easy.

The early morning had me grilling buffalo kabobs and veggies for breakfast and sipping a Founders Porter while sport'n a vtg. Lee Commander. The soft green felt belies it's retail pedigree and original inexpensive price. Grand hat.

Errands included a stop at the auto dealership for oil change and tire rotation. Wore a Cordova Cap for this and other stops. It reminds me that if I could have everything delivered I would. Shopping errands - jeepers!

Yard work in an unlined cap. Late dinner in a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner and then this evening enjoying the summer lake in a modern Gannon (granite felt).

Fantastic airy weave Bill. Just love this one.

Off to see Mission Impossible Fallout this afternoon in our summer straws.

What a great picture of you guys. Good to hold up in a theater in this heat.

What a great day you had Eric. I would give anything just to follow you around and hand you the next hat to wear. Kind of a "hat knave".

Lees of London c1950. Had the brim changed so I could wear it as a fedora. Whip stitch by Mike Miller of NW Hats. Off for a procedure at the hospital and then errands. Cool morning. I'll have to come back to catch up with all the great hats this morning.

Super looking hat, Red. Great color.

Ah, I remember 56 degrees. Won't be seeing it for the next while, it was a low of 65 last night. That Hanover is a favorite.
It was nice. Wasn't that cool this morning, but still an improvement on the 70s that it had been at dawn.

Stratton Lawman while doing some roadside foraging.

Lovin the colors and lines of that Dobbs, great hat Michael.

Thanks all,
Michael

Beautiful! The hat and the setting are perfect. I envy your being able to wear a windbreaker; it’s an oven here in my part of California.

At sunrise it is a little too cold for a windbreaker, but a heavier garment limits my swing. I usually take the windbreaker off around 11 am.

And that beautiful color of that hat is in the rainbow. Fitting somehow.

Another nice morning, if not as cool. Royal Stetson that I had on for the party last night and popped on again this morning.

More rummage sale and live music is the agenda for today I think.

Have a great Saturday,

Even for just a little while, a felt is a nice respite on a cool morning. This Stetson fits the bill perfectly.

Good day. Early morning found me wearing a vtg. 50's Stetson Open Road (made in Canada) in a tan felt.

A hike in a Gannon fedora (bone felt) was enjoyable in the cool 60'f temps. Boots, shorts and socks got soaked from the morning dew. The indigenous cone flowers are nearing the end of their bloom. I feel refreshed after the hike and am ready to tackle the day.
