I will put on my Highwayman for you, and dance the dance of my people.

Hi all!

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I got an Aero Highwayman in Chromexcel Heavy Steerhide, and boy do I love it. So much that I want to show it off a bit and give some info and fit pics back to the community.

For starters, this jacket is heavy. Heavy to me anyway, at over 8 pounds it is certainly substantial. My other jackets are afraid of it.

"You talkin' to me?" - The Jacket

I think the heavy steerhide that Aero uses is the reason Waldo is hiding. But it is absolutely gorgeous, it doesn't feel heavy wearing it, and the steerhide conformed so fast you could see it change by the hour.

My photography does it no justice, but here's tryin':

The background and direct sun really bring out the red in it. Here are a couple of me doing my (soon to be trademarked) interpretive dance in front of the jeep:

Plus one in a public restroom, 'cause I jus' can't quit checkin' myself out in mirrors.

Two more to show off the Musselburgh tartan lining (I think that's German for Muscle Town baby!) and to showcase my two favorite garment labels nowadays.

Cheers and thanks for lookin'!

How can you not love a jacket that fits and looks as good as this one? You can't. You wear it well. The heavy CXL steer Aero uses is so good.

Looks perfect man! The title of this post is superb too BTW.

Wow Thanks Ton!

And let me write this quick note to all of you guys...especially the ones who have been contributing stuff for years...standing in front of your own cameras to show us all your awesome stuff, sharing info, tips, input, all of it...to you I say a big warm THANK YOU, because I never ever would have got into this hobby ($1000 for a piece of clothing? Are you nuts?) without the absolute wealth of information, help, and encouragement here at TFL. Now you know who the "people" are and what "the dance" is. :D

TL;DR See that weirdo trying on clothes in front of his jeep? Ask not for whom the dude twirls...HE TWIRLS FOR THEE.
