The after image is what this pullover should have looked like in the first place - cracking job on the transition. I guess fringe was a thing back in the 1950's due to Roy Rodgers/Dale Evans, their trusty steed Trigger and Jeep Nellie Bell being on TV at the time. Oh yeah, the Lone Ranger too although I don't think he wore fringe on a regular basis.

Mr Lee leisure suit jacket. I’ve been spending a good deal of time at my sewing machine, trying to tailor my own ****. This turned out pretty good.

Shirt looks good I've been tailoring all my pants and shirts for a bit now as well; my taylor makes it look so easy but it's not. Huge learning curve and mistake pile for sure. At some point I might actually start saving money, maybe I'm always amazed at the angles, hems and the multitude of considerations that has to be acknowledged to properly alter something; also the brilliant minds that developed sewing machine technology is mind boggling.

Test fit for jacket #10 after another mod to top yoke. This one got the J100 treatment for the sleeve zips and collar. I almost forgot how rigid this SB Foot Black Cherry hide is when new.

Grain and drape are what makes them stand out imho. Amazing how well they lookk today from being made in the 80s. But they seem to pop up often enough - though not always Connolly. Here is the grain on the one I have on now. You sometimes need to get the sleeves lining seen to, and I get cord belt strips on mine, but they are great jackets.
