1950s Sears hhfq cycle champ d pocket!
Heading to have a peaceful cigarette time
With no doubtSlippers are the true heritage Engineers. No decorative straps, actually functional, as it should be.
It's been awhile since I've posted. My pre-Black Friday purchased arrived Wednesday. I was able to put it to the test today. It's a shearling lined wool jacket. The shearling is plush, thick, soft, and brown. The wool is a soft navy blue. I've always wanted this color combo. I made the splurge when it was 50% off for BF.
Chicago today is in the upper 20s (-3°C) with a winter storm on the way. I walked around the neighborhood doing errands and I popped into Wrigleyville's Christkindlmarket. Half way through my time out I was sweating!

lol my wife saw the pic I posed on here so I was trying to her how we post what we wear for the day but all she saw was the fact that I was standing on her favorite rug with my boots on. Then she proceeds to give me a dirty look and walked away. So ….. yeah
I love this and wish I lived somewhere I could wear this sort of thing. Who made it?
Original vintage D-pocket rider jackets are the most beautiful design jacket ever made (IMO)I don't know why.... I love D pockets. They look so interesting. Oh and @Vintagecollectkr, I would totally join you for a Peaceful Cigarette time.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I love this and wish I lived somewhere I could wear this sort of thing. Who made it?
Just tell your wife that you are part of an elite group of on-line men who take pictures of themselves to share with each other for self validation. Or something like that. It was actually a quote from a SF poster about 15 years ago, haha
Man… this had me laughinglol my wife saw the pic I posed on here so I was trying to her how we post what we wear for the day but all she saw was the fact that I was standing on her favorite rug with my boots on. Then she proceeds to give me a dirty look and walked away. So ….. yeah
My missus queried why did I want a near daily photo of me (in whatever the jacket of the day was?)Man… this had me laughing
They never see the jacket, only the crime scene
Good move - the right one.....I got rid of mine lol ( kept the jacket)
Maybe you had the wrong modelI got rid of mine lol ( kept the jacket)
The commando pattern is great but essentially only for the really tall and long limbed among us.It's still crazy to me that this Vanson × Left Field Commando looks and feels equally good over a t-shirt or, as here, over my thickest shaggy-fleece sweater. The pile on this fleece is like an inch thick, but it works just fine. I don't understand Vanson's patterning… just magic. This combo is just as warm as my N1 deck jackets, but with better wind and rain resistance.
