Ugh the bank actually sided with the scammer! I sent everything they wanted--photos, receipts, etc. Don't know how they could do this. Also doesn't seem like I have any recourse. Looks like I'm out $975 due to this guy. Unbelievable. If anybody knows how else to dispute a bank chargeback please...

agree that we should focus on preventing scamming rather than discussing tattoos! How does a scammer even get into John Lofgren boots??? I've been checking Ebay and Grailed to see if they get put up for sale but haven't come across them yet, suggesting that he's keeping them or reselling them...

I try not to judge anybody based on how they appear. But this person is truly trying to screw over others in our community and somehow seems to have found fancy leather products to be a specialty niche for scamming... guess he wants to look stylish while committing crimes. hope he doesn't get...
