I finally pulled the trigger on a new jacket. I just paid for a Vanson Maverick with Thurston Brothers. Going with one of the dark brown leathers that Thurston offers. Now I wait for the fit jacket. Carrie was super helpful btw. I will keep everyone posted through the process.

Has anyone tried the crystal goat and have photos of a finished jacket? I am really leaning that way for a trucker. Also the medium trucker has the exact specs of my favorite lambskin jacket. Any other tweaks anyone recommends from a sizing perspective?

The grain looks really nice. Is that the premium or the regular crystal?

I am torn on what to buy next. I am thinking a type 3 leather trucker from Five Star in dark brown goat or the Satchel and Page Montgomery. Any experiences with either would be appreciated!

First post hope this in the correct place. I am thinking of getting a half belt 30s style jacket from Five Star in upgraded goat skin. Of their stock patterns, it is most similar to an Aero Highwayman. For leather color, I have a ton of boots in brown CXL. Would that be close to the Crystal...
