I have one. Timing is fine. Problem is needles. The needle for this machine was not widely used, if I remember correctly it is a 46x11. Nobody makes them. There is no cross reference number in any line.

Looks to be a coconut palm braid. I would go with RBH on this one and just wet it down a bit and see if it will take a new shape. It can be professionally reblocked if it is indeed a coconut, but you can almost buy a new one for what you would have in it at that point. Jimmy

It can be done, I have done several, but you may end up closer to 2 inches. The edge doesn't fold evenly and has to be trimmed to be even. Jimmy

I have one or two stetson 100 go through my hands a year. I pick them up in antique stores and renovate them. I make them into something I want to were and then someone ends up buying them off my head. I usually sell them for between $150 and $300. Jimmy
