    Hi -

I am single with no kids (and don't want any), but seeking (I am heterosexual but demisexual). I do not smoke, but drink occasionally and socially. I am an "omnivore", but enjoy vegetarian dishes as well. I am also an avid tea drinker.

My interests, aside from "maritime", are:

Natural-alternative healing (this is a broad spectrum that, for me, encompasses: nutrition, herbs, supplements, essential oils, essences, and homeopathy, as well as gemstones to a very minor extent) - I got into all of that due to my health, and "allopathic" medicine not helping me.

My interest in style is "vintage-classic"; and I have my own "interior style" that is a blend of vintage-maritime-industrial-minimalist (the latter part of which is mainly for pragmatic reasons).

I am spiritual, but Non-Theistic and Non-Religious (no, I do not identify as a witch or pagan - as having "passed through" that community, I never fit because 98% of the things they do, I don't do). My spiritual path is my own and is largely based on jungian psychology. Reincarnation also plays a central role in my spirituality. I like to understand through science and spirituality how the brain and "consciousness" are intertwined and can change through neuroplasticity. I have realized that brain waves (states) seem to play a big role in the mind's access to other dimensions. Such as experiencing memories from "the past". I have experienced OBE, reincarnation by birth, and by soul replacement. It is this latter experience that has had me looking at how consciousness, the soul, and the brain are interconnected.

Other "subjects" of my spirituality have been: Feng Shui, Astrology (in depth - not generalized newspaper posts), and my healing work involving the aforementioned remedies. I really cannot separate my healing work from my spirituality, they are both entwined to a great extent.

Regarding other historical interests: I have a budding interest in fragrance (history of perfumery) - this came about through my essential oil work.

My main period of focus seems to be 1920s.

I am not on Facecrook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. I just don't care for/have the energy for/don't like/am a misanthropic curmudgeon...so, I keep my online presence and activity very limited. I prefer to invest most of my limited energy (thanks to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) in the "real world". Thanks for understanding.
