I just ordered a BG 57 and am looking forward to it. I would really, really, really like to have this same hat/brim width in a gray like Moonstone or Glen Gray. Trying to find an Open Road or clone in a real gray, not silverbelly, is virtually impossible. Is there any interest in a gray color...
Here's a new-to-me Straoliner in a light gray. 5-1/2" crown and 2-1/2" brim. No mothing or stains and appears to have been worn very little. I'm mulling over what bash to use.
Resistol Monarch
Well, here's an obscure resistol...the MONARCH. Nice condition and a charcoal gray color. I wear this hat a lot, so much so that sweat has soaked through and darkened the crown ribbon.
My wife works at Disneyland Resort and she says that there will be a fedora store in the art deco area of Calfornia Adventure. She will keep on the lookout for the store and when it is opening and I will let everyone know. I will definitely have to check it out.
