Well, I finally saved enough pennies to get my latest suit tailored. Its not a true vintage suit, just a knockoff, but it fits the part rather nicely. Its comfortable, and wears well. Here is a picture:

I used to do civil war re-enacting when I was much younger. The funny part is that at 17 I was probably the most authentic person in the unit, yet I got a lot of drision because of my age. I would like to pick up re-enactment at some point in the future when I have more funds.

My grandfather was in the merchant marine and was a mate on those transports back and forth in the atlantic. He always sailed on oil vessels, a lovely exploding target. I have his uniforms, his papers, and some pictures of his!

I get asked if I am a hecetic jew actually semi-regularly, I have a goatee, I wear a long black greatcoat, and I have a black humburg(sp?).

I did in fact get some carter hall to bein with. We'll see how I like it. The pipe came off a certain forbidden website, its nothing special because I am rather short of cash, as long as it works I will be satisfied. Ben K.
