Some new boots - can't live on jackets alone...

Nice, I like the Dodgeville they offer. Specifically, in black. Too bad I have mutant EE feet. Nothing ever fits in the last.

Is this pitting normal for a Schott?

Schott will take anything back for a refund if you are not happy about it. I'm glad they refunded your money. Not surprised they didn't exchange it for a pristine jacket that would have cost hundreds more. Hopefully it will end up on a bike or on stage somewhere.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Top secret 20,000mm/20,000mm Homeschool Jacket at about 6800ft. Sorry if it carries no class, but it's on the level in it's element!

Is this pitting normal for a Schott?

my friend owns two big army navy stores, they carry stuff like filson, swarovski and schott. They love Schott as its US made and they have a great past with the military, especially navy. Sure it was a fake?

Is this pitting normal for a Schott?

Here's a horsehide perfecta after a few thousand miles of bar hopping and turning wrenches. It happens from work and abrasion. Something scratched the hell out of your new jacket and that's probably why they got it on sale.

Microcracks all over Steerhide Aero jacket?

OP, I'm new here and I'm no garment expert but I use and abuse leather in many ways. I also take good care of it and use many types. Cows have grain and vein the closer you get to the belly (edge). Good saddle makers and tailors will try to do a job with leather from one spot or match the grain...

    Schott 689H

Well, if you have been wearing it daily and sometimes sleeping in it, she should be good to go by spring time. My Horsehides all stood up in formation when not in use. Now, they flop over a chair like a towel. Even with winter use, nothing soften them up like 100 mph winds! Nice jacket. The...

Any experts care to help a novice identify a cool older jacket?

looks similar but the breast pockets are different along with the zips. Just seems strange to have no marks. Cool company, thanks for sharing. The search continues!

Black Vicenza Premier 1930's Half Belt - 9 months

That's what I'd call a SICK JACKET BRO!

Any experts care to help a novice identify a cool older jacket?

If you stumble upon it again, let me know! The zippers do feel and look 80's ish. All the new stuff seems to be chrome in the bike section. This jacket seems extremely heavy compared to other cow hide jackets but it has been ridden with many times making it flexible. It's about as heavy as my...

Consider Teamster for my first aero, have some questions.

That's a nice jacket! I always consider that the HH will loosen up a little bit and keep them form fitting. If it's a casual jacket, comfortable but not too loose. This one will be around many years so consider your waist line in the future! It wont look too big since it's not a form fitting...

    Aero Zipper Wavyness

Hi there! I have a horsehide jacket that would stand up on it's own when it was new. The pocket zippers had a little wave to them at first but disappeared after a long hard winter of wearing it around the house and to bed for months trying to break it in. A few miles on the bike at speed...

Any experts care to help a novice identify a cool older jacket?

Hello there! I'm Nick from Montana. I want to start off by saying thanks to the people of this forum for helping me select the right jacket for my motorcycle. I ended up with a Black Horse jacket that works great on my bike and will take a hit if ever needed while skidding down the highway at...
