We will see. That’s usually how I am with footwear. As I have three pairs of Vibergs, 2 onderhoud (one currently being made), a pair of john lofgrens, and a pair of Truman boots.
I picked this jacket new for $500 shipped. So I’m not too deep into my wallet. However, I think I’ve decided to keep the sleeves as is. And I’ll wear it this year and see if I want it tapered in the future.
My only real issue is the cuffs are wide so the zipper basically non functional. Does it appear to be a good fit regardless? Obviously I’m not an experienced leather jacket owner. More of a high end footwear person myself.
That’s pretty great! Awesome CS right there. Would you suggest only tapering an inch from the bicep and the cuff then? Just purely judging off the photos?
That’s really disappointing because that’s where I planned on sending my jacket. I wore my thickest shirt when making the final decision, so maybe I might just only take an inch instead of the inch and a half.
Thank you for the response! I understand it is a one way trip, but I do prefer my jacket to have a little less room in the cuff area. The other Simmons bilt cafe racer I owned definitely zipped up closer to the wrist.
Purchased a Simmons Bilt Horsehide Jacket and the sleeves are a bit loose than what I’d like. Especially the cuff as I can slip off the jacket with the cuff zippers closed. Just judging off of the photos, do you think and inch and a half taken from the biceps to elbow and cuff area too much? Or...
