There are a few threads about wide-leg slacks, but I do know that many of the ladies on here have made theirs using vintage patterns. If you're handy with a needle that may be an option for you too. You can check out the "Show us what you've made" thread where some of the ladies have posted pictures showcasing their sewing projects (wide-leg slacks included) and the patterns they've used, but I must warn you that it can be very addicting!

You could maybe find some vintage men's trousers? Gents in the 30s had tiny waists, so may well fit a lady.

I may check out that powder room thread, high waisted trousers are high on my girlfriend's shopping list, as she's tried and failed to make her own.
