Very true. I got a sun faded red chambray for $40 that's no where near the quality of the regular retail style it's based on. I love the shirt, but it's missing all the bells and whistles of the $98 one.mattfink said:

For example the moleskin s & p pants were tagged 38, but measured much closer to a 36. Fine with me because that's my real size, but would be bad if you didn't know any better. The pants tend to run a little short in the rise as well.

Bragent?
I got these at a yard sale about 2 years ago, threw them in the back of my closet, and forgot about them until recently. I can't find much of anything on the brand, which is pretty new - Bragent, since 1968 - except for a few hits on Rakuten (like Amazon in Japan, I think), which indicates that they're made in Italy, and seem to be kind of pricy. The workmanship doesn't seem that great, but they're really comfortable pants.
Anyone have other info?
