Ernest, that black pug made a big improvement in that Scala boater. Makes it more versatile, doesn't it?

I just came back to the hotel from my brother-in-law's wedding in Fayetteville, TN...an outdoor afternoon wedding. Anybody that was in Tennessee today knows that that amounts to cruel and unusual punishment. Luckily there ceremony was mercifully short and then the festivities were moved to air conditioned indoors. I went with the classic combination of navy blue blazer, red tie, linen pants, brown wingtips, and an Italian boater with red and blue guard's band. Long, long day, so just a quick snap before changing into more comfortable clothes.

I really like that milan, Rusty. I've been considering buying my first milan, a nice black stetson I saw at bencraft. I've been kind of reactionary to other type of straws but that dobbs is making me reconsider
