RLK, that looks like a great find you have there. 2 1/4 inch brim. Looks perfect!

Buler, that top hat looks like it came from a museum (or belongs in one).

Marvelgoose, you have a good eye. That hat cries out for a wider ribbon.

Nice hats guys!

Ok no more new hats for at least a month ;-)

It took from February to April, but the big sizes in the special order BLuegrass Green Campdrafts by Akruba finally arrived. I had it come to the office since EA requires a signature. Everyone freaked out when I pulled it out of the box and the first thing I did was karate chop it down the middle.

"You mean you shape it yourself?" hehe

I tried to white balance but it picked up a lot of brown from the cube walls.

Yeah, I started a beard. Two weeks into it and the clerk at the grocery asked me if I was eligible for the senior citizen discount. Then he asked if I wanted to give $1 to help Jerry's Kids. I took a pass...

Good job, and congratulations!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

You're correct, if you continue your academic career, they'll just make you buy a new one next time around.:)

I would like to post a pic... but I'm not that strong a computer webs user... Anyway, over the wekeend, I picked up a neat hat for the summer. It looks and feels like like straw but the label reads "100% paper". It makes me look good so at 5 bucks, I HAD to take it home.

And it takes a lot to make me look good...

Just got in a Canyon Grey Optimo with Oxblood ribbon and brim binding and a Diamond Crown. Apparently Graham really liked how this one came, so did I :) . I have a few Optimo Hats now but this may very well be my favorite one. Plus, I'm not sure if Graham just forget to put the front dents in on the diamond crown or intentionally left them out, but it looks pretty neat without them, lucky for me.
