"Ahead of schedule" meaning at 30 I'm having some of the same issues as someone who's put "personal/family life" off until their late 40s or 50s and realized their "window of opportunity" is starting to close on them...
The combo of hyperaccelerated intellectual development and stunted emotional/personal growth either add to or are a key part of the nuisance... going from 30 to 60 to 15 in a few microseconds depending on the situation ain't fun.
On the upside, I got a few extra years to enjoy throwing down the Old Fart card...lol

I did what Lolly planned, at 39 I told people I was 40 because 39 sounds like what a 40 yr old would say they are. I told myself 40 would be great instead of dreading it.

I am turning 29 this friday.
I think it is a great age. But some years more wont hurt too...just enjoying the best of it and never regret. Learning from mistakes just makes you the person you are. (even if you do 'em again)

I find it interesting that the main memberbase of the Lounge appears to be in the "younger" set; teens, twenties, thirties and forties...I wonder why this is?

Possibly. That would be kind of neat though, to be the youngest. To be honest, I thought I was going to be until I reached this page. I'm 16, 17 in January. Apparently because it's next year I can't say almost 17 yet. lol
