Unworn Walk-Over shoes pre-1900 (?)

Found this pair of mens Walk-Over shoes that look unworn. I don't know the first thing about vintage shoes but from checking ads it appears these could date to late 1800s.

Thought I'd share pics and see what the experts can tell me.

They are called button top boots, and are basically formal boots worn commonly until the 20s. (More so than the shoe.)

There's wear on the heel and some light wear on the sole, plus creasing to the uppers. So they're not unworn.

Anyway, really nice boots, good brand, Walkover made really nice white bucks, and if they're 9c, in a wearable size. Looks like they need some serious reconditioning. Pecards, Rapide.
