What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?

Saturday: Monsdale (exceptional, as always)
Sunday: 2001 Saint Luis Rey Double Corona (I can't figure these out; every cigar in the cabinet is beautifully constructed, but half of them taste excellent and the other half taste boring; sadly, this one was boring)

Sounds like my La Traviata experience. The cigar box like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates---you never know what you are going to get. ;) :p

Lately I've been getting into nasal snuff
I too enjoy snuff. I prefer Gletscher Prise Menthol. A very fresh and bright sensation. I have quit smoking many times. As long as 12 years and sometimes 2 and 3 years together. I always quit cold turkey. I've been off smokes for about 18 months again and have recently been craving a nice Camel straight or Lucky. Here in Wisconsin the anti-butt league has got smoking in public places banned as of July 5th or 7th of this year (don't remember which). Last summer I bought a pack of Camel straight and enjoyed them in my own company for about a month and have done well without since but as I said I have been having that craving again. The nasal snuff does help take the edge off and I agree, it can be taken very discretely. Even at work.

You too eh? I bet you didn't have it with a Loquat smoothie though. ;)

You are correct. If I remember correctly, I had it with a bit of Aberlour a'bunadh, a very nice cask strength.

Tonight I had a RP summer robusto with a taste of McClelland's Highland.

Hang in there, Dan, and good on ya. Do have a look at snuffhouse.org as there are lots of guys there who've used snuff to quit the fags. Without trying, my pipe smoking has gone way down with the snuff use, and although I am not wanting to give up the briar, I would find it easy with this alternative.

And speaking of briar, my current infatuation is with 4noggins Bald Headed Teacher. A delightful burley based blend that is very satisfying, cool and un-ostentatious but easy enough to be an all day, every day baccy.
