If 37 is a crochety old fart then I hope to be as impeccably dressed when I'm a crochety old fart! :)

Hehe! Thanks :) My crotchety nature doesn't interfere with my ability to be stylish luckily ;)

I didn't realize I was older than you Annie! I thought you were 17 for some reason. When's your birthday? :)

I turned 40 this year. It doesn't really feel different from 30, except that I find myself less inclined to wear certain things I would have a few years ago. And it's funny because I never thought I'd care that something looks 'too young' for me, but I see women walking around in the same clothes they had for a very different body (And I saw them in the same clothes then, which is why I notice), not looking right, and I don't want to be one of those. Even though most people think I'm no older than 30! :D

I am surprised the number of members in the age group I'm in (over 65) is so small. Maybe they forgot to vote;) Anyway, at 78 this year, I suspect I am one of the oldest members. I just retired 3 years ago, but I think I work harder now than when I was working. Nice thing about my age is I don't have to speculate on what the golden era of the 30's and 40's was like. I was there; I know what it was like.

Judging from your profile picture Miss Moondance, I wouldn't have thought you were any more than mid to late twenties. :)

That's so neat Bill! So you would have been born in 1932 and been a teenager in the 40's. According to my terrible math skills.
What do you think of the almost hero worship of the Golden Era? I suppose many of us have rather fantastic unrealistic type view seeing as we didn't actually live through it. I try not too. But it's almost difficult with the sharp modernity of the world nowadays.

Happy Birthday to all of you!! For those I've missed, and those that are coming up ;)

39 1/2 here - although that implies that I'm another age elsewhere...5, perhaps? Already had my nervous breakdown (and frankly, it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me), so I guess I'll just have to celebrate calmly. Ahhh, to heck with that, show me to the closest tattoo parlour! lol :p

We're all age stamping ourselves? I almost missed out.

Twenty-five (25) here, and still positively glamorous.
