I have green eyes which can go very bright green if i am upbeat or a kind of sludgey blue green if i'm down in the dumps. My brother got the best eyes, his are light green, really stunning and look great as he has jet black curly hair and dark skin. The Italians go nuts for green or blue eyes, probably as the majority are dark eyed, so when we go to visit the family my brother always has the aunties and grannies billing and cooing over him haha. My son has lovely chocolate brown eyes with really long thick lashes.

I'm Irish and have got typical Irish colouring -- blue eyes, brown hair, fair skin (with freckles in summer). I always wanted dark brown eyes, and I still think they're the most beautiful eyes in the world, but I've learned to live with being blue :)

I voted hazel, as mine are usually green with copper flecks, with a defined dark gray ring around the outside. Occasionally they go totally gray, however.

My eyes were light brown for years, but over the last two years, they've been developing some green, so now they're technically hazel. But I still think of them as brown and will continue to list them as such on my driver's license.

My husband's eyes are a wonderful stormy sky/ocean gray-blue that changes depending on his mood and what he's wearing. I love eyes that seem to change color, I find that intriguing.

(makes no sense...but it's that distinctive redhead eye color...does anyone know what i mean?)

It's the same as Simon Woods...as light grey as light can be on the inside and rimmed in dark grey.

I think i have developed an eyebrow fixation to go with my mens pomp fetish haha, so many lovely ladies with lovely shaped eyebrows, like yours and Miss Hannah's for example. I have over plucked mine this time round so i'm waiting for them to grow and just ogling everyone elses!

Darkest brown for me! My fella likes to comment that they are "as brown as the Liffey" (Liffey = river that runs through the town I live in) lol

Grey-blue or blue-green depending on what I'm wearing. In 7th grade I was completely confused when we did the whole dominant color gene thing because my dad had black hair and blue eyes, my mom had chestnut brown hair and brown eyes. Technically I should have gotten my dad's black hair and dark complexion and my mom's brown eyes. Wrong!!! I got my mom's chestnut hair, my dad's blue eyes, and my mom's pale, freckled Irish skin. shakeshead

Phenotype is a bit more complex than they teach at high school! But chestnut hair and blue eyes sounds so beautiful!

my eyes are weird, they change colour all the time depending on what I'm wearing so sometimes they look blue, sometimes grey, sometimes green. Though today they are mainly bloodshot from last nights overindulgence.

I always wished for those kind of eyes that change like that. My dad has blue eyes, my mom hazel, I have blue. My husband has brown eyes and both our boys have blue eyes. Genome they taught me in high school is wrong according the that too brown should have been dominant.
My eight year son has gotten the Paul Newman comment all his life. We showed him who he was when he was little cause he got so many comments about his Paul Newman eyes.

Since I can't vote (and somewhat relieved that I can't just yet!) I figured I'd just reply.

I'm not entirely sure what colour my eyes are. I'd have no idea what to vote on! When I was born, I had bright blue eyes and pitch black hair, then when I was a few months old, my eyes were nearly black. By the time I was three or four, I was strawberry blonde with honey brown eyes. These days, my eyes change so often, even Almay's intense i-colour is no use because I can't decide what colour my eyes are...

Right now, they're hazel, this morning they were a murky brown/green and before I go to bed, they'll probably be a dark brown with a dark gray ring around the outside.

I used to wear contacts and after putting one in, it'd be green and the other (without the contact) would be brown. Freaky stuff!

My eyes are blue. They get lighter if I'm in the water for a long time. I originally thought it was from my hair and eyebrows darkening when they get wet. Increasing the contrast and making my eye look lighter. But it doesn't happen when I shower or have a bath.
