Emergency feedback on ebay 1930's shoes.

These fit guys! but could I get away with these as officer's AAF dress shoes? How would you rate these generally?

They look perfect to me! If they were my size i would buy them and change out the heel later.

Well Paddy, I know it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a little late now, but I hope you got them. Sharpetoys why would you change out the heel??? No offence buddy but, that is a mint pair of shoes from the late 30?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s or early 40?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s. That is like going back to 1939 and buying your self a new pair of shoes. I subscribe to the ?¢‚Ǩ?ìkeep it the way it is?¢‚Ǩ? school of thought. Changing the heel is like buying a 1930 Duesenberg and putting tractor tiers on it. It doesn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t fit. Plus, if you?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢re into living history, the heels on those shoes are spot on for the period! A modern heel would make the shoe not look correct.

I love vintage for what it is and I feel that it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s perfect the way it is! No change can make it better unless it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s worn out.

Paddy, if you did win the shoes, they would be perfect with pinks and greens! I ware caps like that with my Officer stuff!

Some cad jumped in on my bid with 30 secs to go. Don't you just hate that chaps! They had my name written all over them, and then this guy just dives in on the final furlong! Is honour dead? I ask you.
As you might have gathered, this has rather peaved me to miss out on this little gem, as these pieces of history would have set my AAF officer look off to a tee!

Aw Rats! That?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a pity my friend! Those were so pretty with the original box to go with! With NOS (New Old Stock) I some times feel bad to ware some thing that untouched! There wasn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t a scratch on them soles! Boy, what a heart break and a half! I would be spitting nails at the PC if I had lost out on those pups! Oh well, you have my deepest sympathy.
