Where Do You Think Men Should Shave?

I don't believe women should be made to feel that they have to remove their body hair and I apply the same principle to men. They should be allowed to be as hairy or as bald as nature intended without anybody making any judgment. Whether I like it or not shouldn't come into it - it is my problem if I can't accept the way somebody else's body was made.

I find fascinating the spectrum of opinion about things like this (i.e. men's grooming habits).

I read an article online about the returning popularity of facial hair. The amount of vitriol in the comments against facial hair and men with any kind of beard was unbelievable.

My moustache is a waxed handlebar. I have been informed by my wife that if I ever loose the facial hair, I'm sleeping on the couch until it grows back. It doesn't have to stay the same style, there just has to be something there.

I felt the same about my ex - I adore(d) his moustache and only hope that the next chap who I manage to persuade to date me either has one or is amenable to growing one!

I don't mind body hair at all. I've dated virtually hairless men, and ones who didn't know when to stop washing their hair as it continued all the way down (lol), but the only one that I slightly didn't agree with obviously would have had hairy shoulders but shaved it, meaning he had prickly bits and ingrown hairs. I much prefer fur to stubble. I actually much prefer a furry man to a hairless one.

However, I have my personal preferences: I love a full head of hair to grab and caress, but not so much on the rest of the body (though hairy arm pits, groin, legs and treasure trail are lovely). The young men I like don't have much body hair to begin with, they're naturally smooth and baby soft. A few of my favorite parts of the male body - the buttocks (!), the back, and the chest - are most enticing when clearly visible.
As for me, I've been everything from completely hairless to natural (legs/arm pits/pubic hair), and lots of combinations in between. Sometimes I trim with scissors, I like to experiment.

My darling man is so hairy at night if I cuddle into him I don't know if it's his chest or back:eek:
He also sports a full beard which he maintains perfectly, infact he has more styling products and power tools (straightner, dryer etc) than me, all for his beard lol
Here is a beard pic, an old one about 6 years ago, pre-vintage

Hirsute sounds like "hair suit". Coincidence?
LOL!

I love the company of everyone here at FL, and would never want to hurt anyone's feelings. That being said, what disturbs me with this thread is everybody (both men and women) getting so touchy about there being a thread about male shaving i.e. hygien/ beauty. Suddenly shaving is a super private subject. No one raised an eyebrow when all the lady shaving-threads were started, for example: "To wax or not to wax?"http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=17732
Ladies can wax their most sensitive parts, their sexe, and all is well; but to even pose the question whether a man's back is more beautiful smooth or hairy seems to upset people.
Here's another thing I like about smooth skin on a man: it's easier to kiss, lick and caress (without pulling sensitive hairs).

I'm a hairy dude hairy chest (not austin powers hairy) legs everything, and trim the pits because, I sweat a lot but the moment something shows up on my back I will wax it or laser it or do whatever i have to do to be rid of it. Right now I have nothing at 24years old hopefully it stays that way.

p.s.-Also with hairy legs/thighs, happy trail chest, then nothing down south would look a little weird don't you think?

one of the funniest things i ever saw was a picture of a naked hairy man who shaved his pubes. he literally had a big white bald patch around his genitals, while his legs and stomach were covered in dark hair. it was on tv, my mother was next to me and we laughed so hard it hurt.

Funny how things change. During a tour thru the Texas State Capital I saw several large photos of men in office during the turn of the Century to about 1920s. Not a single man had a smooth face. All had beards. It was the norm.

I would like to think just like tall, short, blonde, brunette that there are some made by God for ones that like hairless and ones that like lots of hair.

Please excuse me, I have seen other male members post here...

Now at the risk of being crude, the only place I shave is my face. I'm not a very hairy person, though.

A man who has or has not hair on his head doesn't worry me a bit, in fact I rather like men with shaved heads, i find that sexy! ;) Facial hair or not facial hair doesn't make a difference either ...

But for me ... and with all respect

Men who shave their bodies make me PUKE and I view these sort of characters with utmost suspicion ...I am simply unable to stomach this type of men.

Big, big turn off *yucky*
