Miss Sofia, that coat is gorgeous!

I just bought these two things on Etsy. I love them. I don't usually do pink but I loved the little Doxies on the blouse. The dress and bolero is coming from the UK. It's got a Horrockses Fashion tag in it. :D She said she's not sure if it's from the 80s or 50s... looks 50s to me, but even if it's not I don't care as the fabric is so darn cute!

Thanks, gals! No, was the only sweater. Needs a bit of love... has a few holes, but I'm probably going to make a new underlap to fix that. Can't wait for them to get here :D

I guess I can post this here. It's a Singer 338 from 1964, I am just over the moon that I found this! It was 15.99 at the Goodwill! I brought it home to find that it came with 13 feet, 5 stitch discs the manual and power cord! I wiped it down and ran some thread through it and it works!!! Can you tell I am excited??? lol

Thanks! I will do that! I took it to my sewing machine guy here in town to have it serviced. He was telling me how this machine is far superior to my NEW 300 dollar Singer. lol I agree :) I can't wait to get it back and start sewing on it!

:eek:fftopic: but I just loved sewing with my Mum's old Brother (circa late 60s/early 70s) back in NZ. The crappy modern one I have now is nowhere near as good. I won't let Mum get rid of it as I sew on it when I go back for holidays!

I had to look twice when I saw this...look I have one too! Got it a couple of months ago in a vintage shop in East London. Yours is a bit cuter than mine as you have the addition of sausage dogs! Does yours say 'Bonnie Togs' on the label, and have little faux diamond detailing on the eyes etc?

It'll go great with my brown skirt and white shirt. Now, should I bid on the brown blazer of a slightly different shade, or the rust colored one?

Oh my goodness what a gorgeous hat. I'm jealous.

At my new school, the rule is that you have to wear a jacket for all assemblies, official events, parents evenings etc. Having got fed up of the same black jacket twice a week, I've just bought myself this velvet number from Cath Kidston. I think it's smashing...

Oh my gosh, how funny! Yes, it has a tags that is a bit cut off, but that would be what it would say if it were all there! No rhinestone eyes though. That's so neat and so random that we have the same shirt! lol

I know! It's funny to think they were probably made in the same place have had their own story and journey. Exactly why I love vintage clothing :D
