Heartbreaker Fashion - yes, I have several items from them and I am happy with them. Easy care, most are hand washable and require little or no ironing. The A-line skirt isn't too light, I wear it all year round. Tights underneath make it a little warmer. The clothing is well made and holds up very well.
I also like ModeMerr. High quality construction and not the same old cookie cutter dresses that everyone else at the show will have on.

Thanks for the review! I definitely want to order the Vanessa dress. And I want the diner dress in every color! Hehe! Yes, Modemerr is very drool worthy!! I'd love to own some of her pieces too!

Oh phooey. I hate when that happens...it's like ordering from ModCloth. At times they have really cute vintage-inspired dresses, but sadly super short. I guess that's the modern spin they add to it.

Anyhoo, happy to help, and I'm glad they wrote back. :)

I totally agree- I find that super frustrating as well- I don't get why they wouldn't just make them slightly longer- isn't that better for business anyway, because you can always shorten it if you dont like the length. I have passed up so many dresses with mod cloth because of it :-(

Found a great Etsy shop!

Hey, Ladies. Found a great Etsy shop by the name of "Vintage Pattern Place" which sells vintage knitting & crocheting patterns. She is even kind enough to enlarge the print on the PDF patterns so they're easier to read! This is a very nice and helpful person, so I thought I'd pass along word about her shop - she knows I'm posting here, so there's no surprises for her :D

Note: I posted this here as I asked about posting this on the Etsy shop thread, and Lady Day was kind enough to point me here - Vintage Pattern Place is not my shop, and the Etsy shop thread is for members of Fedora Lounge only (rightfully so). Thank you Lady Day - she's great, isn't she? :D

Someone posted the ModeMerr new designs earlier but I can't find the post. I think it was in MM's Facebook album. I'm keeping a beady eye on her website as they're supposed to go on some time this month.

I actually just purchased a few of her patterns - she has some really nice
30's sweater dress/coat and hat sets. I would say that I would review this pattern once it is completed for you girls, but I am a beginner at knitting, so I don't think anyone wants to wait for the next 5 years or so till I am done, do they? lol

MaryMary, I was thinking the same thing myself - it'll take me forever to get one of these done to be able to review it ;)
I've found another one that sells knitting and crocheting patterns, too. BabyDee Vintage - some great patterns from the 1930's and up. Fantastic seller, nice to "convo" with too. :)

I've noticed there are some really great vintage inspired clothing lines that sponsor Fluer's blog diaryofavintagegirl.com! And I also love misshussy.bigcartel.com and trashydiva.com!

Yes, sorry, I should have stated that in my post!
Here's a picture, click on it to make it bigger.

That's ok!! I actually found a piccture of it somewhere but I can't seem to find the pattern anywhere so I guess I get to try to do it myself with modern patterns. EEHH!! We will see how that works out!! I don't need it until April or whenever it gets warm enough to wear it here again so I have time!!! Which is a good thing because we are in the process of selling our house and buidling a new one...

I think making it myself will work though. I would change it even if I had the pattern anyways since I dont like the bows on the shoulders and want to make it a little more 40s so I can wear it to WWII weekend in April...
