I really want some cat eye glasses frames. I think that's what they're called... Anyway, I really would like to buy some! But I'm not sure if I can get my prescription put into them. Some store in my town had some I wanted to buy and they were only ten dollars but I had no money on me. :/ I want them to fit right too, my current ones seem kind of small on my face.

Jessica some places will put your prescription in some won't they may warn you that if the frames break they won't be responsible. Be sure to try on some and if you buy a 10 pair be certain they are a good fit before you have your prescription put in as I have found some are just way too small for comfort but some have pinched my face later (post prescription) so now I always like to give em a test run before filling and spending my money.

The other day I received my Clic reading glasses in the mail.

I think they're great.
I'm new to reading glasses, so I've already broken or misplaced several pair, and the cheap ones are either uncomfortable
or start to dissassemble themselves in no time, and I'm just not keen on the librarian chain look. I do like cat eyes, though, to some extent. What I like about these, is I can unsnap them, they hang around my neck, and I don't put them down and lose them!
Everyone who has seen them wants a chance to play with them!

Thank you for the advice. I'll definitely give any glasses I buy a test run. :) I haven't bought any yet... I hear there's a flea market in town, so I might stop by there...

Thank you for the advice. :D

Does anyone have the new cateye reading glasses by Ray Ban? It's a re-release of their iconic cateye sunglasses.

Oh my the lady with the pyramid behind her is wearing the same pair as what I have for cat eyes. Cherry Lips do you know if this is a fifties or a sixties ad? I would really like to know. Not that it matters I really love my glasses.
I only paid ten for them. My local optometrist put my script in and my insurance covered the cost so it was a really good deal to boot.
I found a gold eye glass chain on its original packaging from the fifties to go with it so I can really do vintage chic now, lol.
