Record Player Repair Recommendations?

Does anyone have some recommendations on where I could take (or send) an old record player to be fixed? I have a Trav-ler record player/radio of my father's that needs repair, so I figured this is the place to ask to get some advice.

As a michigan collector of radios and phonographs I can confirm that the previous poster's suggestion might be troublesome. Where in the state are you located? If you are downstate, you can surely find someone willing to undertake your repair through MARC (the Michigan Antique Radio Club). I know of a number of excellent technicians who are members, and hesitate to make a recommendation only because I don't know who is taking on work at the moment.

This fortunately is where an long time Lounger can come in. John Pomazi of Audio Imports in Arcadia, CA can do turntable/record player repair. He's honest and also does radio repairs. I hope this helps.
